NOTICE REGARDING RETREATS AND EVENTS HELD ON AEGNA ISLAND
  • For retreats and other events taking place in summer and autumn, registration requires attaching previously purchased Tallinn–Aegna–Tallinn ferry tickets to this registration form.
Ferry tickets can be purchased here: https://liinilaevad.ee/#/et/.
  • If ferry tickets are sold out, retreat participants may also arrive one day earlier and depart the day after the retreat ends. For example, for a weekend retreat, participants may—by prior arrangement—arrive at the Aegna Meditation Centre on Friday and leave on Monday. For more detailed information, please contact us by email at info@sangha.ee or by phone at +372 511 1115.
  • During retreats and events held in winter and spring, the ferry departs from Rohuneeme Harbour (Sadama tee 11, Rohuneeme village) to Aegna Island at 10:00 AM, and returns from Aegna the following evening at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Due to the lack of necessary qualifications, knowledge, and skills among our volunteer supervisors, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate children with special needs (such as psychological or behavioral disorders, developmental delays, or physical or intellectual disabilities) who require individual care and support according to their specific needs and characteristics.
  • To help cover the costs of organizing the retreat on Aegna—including meals, accommodation, electricity, and other expenses—we kindly ask participants to make a contribution to the Eesti Theeravaada Sangha Monastery bank account:
    Two-day retreat: €90                                                                                                           Three-day retreat: €135                                                                                                       Four-day retreat: €180

(unless otherwise specified in the retreat description on our website)
