Working as a volunteer at the WDS Meditation and Development Center is a great opportunity to participate in the work and practice of our centre. It is also a good opportunity to meet teachers and volunteers from other countries who practice Dhamma. We have neither superiors nor subordinates, no "us", nor "them" among volunteers. This is a home where everyone is equally a member of one family. Here you can be an inspiring example of how all the little things are done without command or prohibition, with friendliness, mindfulness, and peace of mind. For example, if the toilet paper runs out, the towel needs replacing, or the garbage needs to be taken out, etc., you can take the initiative to handle these tasks. For those interested and willing, you can also assist with the following activities:

  • House and yard cleaning
  • Arranging events and assisting organizers
  • Translating and editing of texts
  • Installing recordings
  • Updating the website
  • Structural organization
